Tailored Image Photography offers a wide range of experience and a vast knowledge base to ensure those special wedding-day moments are captured and treasured. We endeavour to provide a personalised service which offers each couple a bespoke Wedding package to meet their  unique requirements.

One area within which we particularly pride ourselves is capturing candid shots throughout the day, not only of yourselves but also of your guests. This provides you with a perfect story of the day, capturing and  relaying the experiences had by all for you to look back on in years to come.

Throughout the process, Tailored Image Photography listen and communicate with each couple, finding out exactly what they are looking for, maintaining a relaxed and friendly approach from the planning stage of the job, through to the actual Wedding day and beyond. We find by maintaining this relaxed approach that the couples feel more at ease, enjoy themselves and achieve the images they desire!  Upon enquiring about our services each couple can expect a high level of service which includes:

  • Personal meeting with the Photographer either at the venue or at a place which suits the engaged couple.
  • Detailed breakdown of the meeting and proposed schedule of the day emailed after the initial meeting including the full price with no hidden costs.
  • Further meetings as required if you wish to discuss our services.
  • Contact a month before the Wedding Day to finalise the group shots as well as confirming the schedule.
  • Shots taken on the Wedding Day.
  • We then provide a full copy of all the edited images which we provide within a 3 week period from the Wedding date: this is one of our unique features as we want our couples to be able to share in the enjoyment of the day with their family and friends without delay!

 

Each Wedding package includes providing the happy couple with a copy of all the edited images as well as a framed photograph of their choice. At this stage we can also provide additional options for Wedding albums, canvas works and additional frames. The cost of each will be provided up front upon request.

This once in a lifetime day is one of the most important days in the lives of couples and their friends and family and therefore we believe it is our duty to capture the happiness, the Love and the friendship which is found throughout these beautiful days!

As you can see its taken me a while to update my blog…but with a busy 2018 followed by a busy 2019 I have found it hard to find the time! Some may say..that’s no excuse…but I am sticking to it!

Here is a little review of the previous year and how it went!

2018 saw Tailored Image Photography grow even further, with more Weddings then ever before, more commercial work and also more successful Family Portrait days. Each area provided positive results which enabled my business to strengthen even more.

Weddings Photography

Throughout the year I had many weddings around the North West, from Wigan to Manchester. Each provided me with new challenges, new people to deal with and new opportunities to capture unique photographs. On my travels I met fantastic couples, guests and venues who all contributed to making the Bride and Grooms days one that they could never forget. I find that Weddings often follow the same routine, (with many couple now thinking I am am a Wedding co-ordinator…..which I don’t mind at all) but even through many weddings may follow the same schedule, it is the people who are involved which makes each one different and very special. Interacting with guests and those who are getting married is the reason I enjoy them so much and 2019 will bring more venues, couple and guests…which I thoroughly look forward to.

Family Portrait Days.

2018  saw the expansion of these family portrait days to other venues. With the days at the Stables Country club proving a success, I decided to look for a new venue within a different area. This area I decided upon was the Blackburn and Burnley area, using the Higher Trapp Hotel as the location. These, a long with the Stables Country club proved a success. Within these days I came across amazing families who all wanted to capture those special memories of themselves with their children before they grow up! I met me many families, who all seemed to enjoy the days, with the children especially enjoying the photo shoot! All families to booked in, where provided with a number of images, which they could treasure forever. With more dates booked in for 2019, I thoroughly look for forward to not only the session, but also meeting the families.

Commercial Photography

Again in 2018, Tailored Image Photography saw an expansion in commercial photography, Each shoot provided companies with new, fresh images they could use in promoting and strengthening their business. These shoot were able to provide photographs for Websites, other social outlets, brochures and also other advertising outlets. With these looking for different types of shots, compared to the Weddings & Portraits I was able to adapt the photograph to meet the needs of the clients to help grow and support the business. Again this work provided the business with many happy customers which are all using their new photographs.

 

2018 was very business and I thoroughly look forward to 2019 with more more work coming in each of the categories mentioned.

Studio Style

Family Portrait Day

 

Due to popular demand, I am happy to announce that there will be more Family Portrait Days put on throughout the year.

With the success of the last one which was done in February and the demand for more, two more dates have been added to the calendar….

Saturday 21st April 2018

Saturday 23rd June 2018

Both dates are being held again at the Stables Country Club, based in Bury.

 

These unique events are an ideal opportunity to capture special photographs of the ones you love!

 

What is a Studio Style Family Portrait Day?

As I have mentioned these unique days bring the studio style photography to you at a price you can afford. I offer a professional, friendly, relaxing atmosphere, ensuring that it is an enjoyable experience while capturing those special shots. I work with the family to get a wide range of family shots, before moving onto shots just of the children and then the adults.

How long do you get?

Each session is an hour, with the photoshoot lasting around 30 – 40 minutes. With those families with younger children I incorporate mini breaks for the children, to ensure they enjoy themselves as well.

~

Can I bring a change of clothes?

There are limited facilities to get change, but if you wish to bring a quick change of clothes for the children, to room is totally private.

~

Can I bring pets?

Unfortunately while these events are bring carried out at the Stables Country club, you are unable to bring animals / pets. Other sessions are available though as out door sessions can be booked which could include a family pet.

What do I get in the end?

Each photo session ends in the couple taking part having at least 15 x images which are stored on a disk for you to use as they wish. All images have a contemporary feel to the end product as all images are taken on a white background. There are no hidden costs! These images are sent direct to your house within a few weeks of the photo shoot.

And finally…

Why the initial cost of the photo shoot while other shoots could be cheaper!

The way I have decided to run my business is to give customers the prices up front, with no hidden costs. Many companies work the opposite way, giving a cheap price before hitting people with more costs later on. I am against this as I feel sometimes people can be pressured into buying something they don’t really want. By doing it the way, customers can enjoy their experience right from the beginning until the end.

I am happy to announce that I will now be doing the Wedding Open days at The Fusiliers Museum situated in the centre of Bury. This unique Wedding venue has an amazing array of different rooms, all of which have plenty of character, making it an ideal place to spend your very special wedding day.

To give you a little background on the venue, here is a little information taken from their website www.fusiliermuseum.com

‘The Fusilier Museum is home to the collections of the XX Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Together they record over 300 years of history and heritage of the people who served in the regiments. Come face to face with the heroes of the past!

The museum tells the story of the 20th Regiment of Foot and the Lancashire Fusiliers from 1688 to 1968, when they became part of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. The museum continues the story for the whole Regiment up to the present day.

The Fusilier Museum in Lancashire has a long history of its own. Originally it was housed in the Training Depot at Wellington Barracks and was used to inspire and motivate troops. In 1934 it opened its doors to the public and enlarged with private collections, personal souvenirs and a wide range of historic material. Now the museum has grown and developed again in the new town centre location which used to be known as the Arts and Crafts Centre’.

The building itself has many unique features, from a grand stair case with stained glass windows, to an old fire place steeped in history. As you go from room to room, you find each room has its own unique elements, which gives those getting married and the wedding guests a very special environment for a wedding. With the venue being fully licenced, those getting married and their wedding guests can enjoy the whole there, not needing travel between venues, and with it being in the heart of Bury, there are plenty of local places for guests to stay.

The brand new event starting on the 1st March 2018, will give those planning a wedding and looking for a venue, the ideal opportunity to explore. You will enjoy drinks on arrival, staff from the venue to talk to and various vendors, which will all be happy to talk and help answer those questions which have playing on your mind! I will be one of the photographers there in the evening to answer any questions you may have and talk about how you would like your special day capturing.

I know from years of carrying out photography for Weddings across Manchester / Bury and the North West that these are very important days, in which the photographer is the one who catches all the special moments from the day.

Back at Turf Moor!

It was great to be back in action taking Match Day Photographs of the game between Burnley Football Club and Manchester United. On these days I take a number of shots throughout the morning and afternoon, leading up to the game, during the game and then after, all aimed at producing those shots which can be used in the match day programs, as gifts to those who are the match day sponsors and also the mascots for the day.

I enjoy this type of photography and it continually challenges the skills I have picked up throughout the years, as you are going from different situations and different conditions.

 

To give you a little idea of what the day consists of for me I have put together a little schedule together for you.

The day starts with…..

  • Photographs of the ground tour which is normally lead by a Burnley legend of the past, showing guests around the facilities, learning the history of Burnley Football club and taking photographs, before they are lead back to have something to eat.

You then move onto…

  • Photographs of the match day sponsors. These shots are taken alongside current players and the referees on pitch side. You often find that children accompanying their parents are very excited at this point, meeting their hero’s…and some adults also get very excited!
  • As you move towards kick off, photographs are taken as the two teams leading out of the tunnel towards the centre circle where more photographs are taken.
  • The referees, captains and match day sponsors are lined up on the centre spot just before kick off and the final photographs is taken.

At half time…

  • The half time draw is captured.

After the game…

  • More photographs are taken with the Man of the Match along with the match day sponsors and other guests.

Then the day is finished!

 

This gives you a little insight of what is required on the match days I do at Burnley. Even though I am there to do a job, it is still fun being around the place, with friendly staff and players, it is a great place to capture photographs. Be sure to look out in the future as I have the Burnley FC vs Manchester City game booked in and possible further games down the line.
